Limit catches 8/11

Primetime sport fishing charters had an awesome week of fishing. On thursday the 11th we hauled in 54 fish in 2 trips. Both trips we were done a hour early. The rest of the month is looking real good. Most of our fish have been coming on spoons, in the top 80 feet of water. Pro kings, northern kings, and union spoons have been the best for us.

Fishing report on the bank

Fishing remains steady on the bank reef. With several good catches over the weekend and last week. Fishing on the edge of the reef in 70 to 110 feet of water. Using mostly flasher fly combos in the early morning. Then switching to a heavy dose of spoons later. Again White and Chrome hotspots have been the best with aqua or green mistake flys. Also some colored flashers, green and charteuse with 38 special flys have been producing some action. Spoons have been northen king, big lake tackle (union spoons), and prokings.

Primetime sportfishing charters had a awesome week of fishing. With some limit catches and many big fish to report. Again fishing an assortment of spoons and dodgers. White and chrome hotspot and pro troll flashers. With aqua and little boy blue flies. Also spoons mixed in. Union spoons and Northern king spoons being the best for us.

Salmon Fishing Heating up on the bank

Salmon fishing is starting to heat up on the bank. With some good catches end of last week, and last weekend. Catching king salmon with a few trout mixed in. A lot of big fish being reported, should be a exciting summer. Most of our fish have been coming in 90 to 130 feet of water. Trolling mostly dodger fly combos. White hotspots and chrome hotspots have been the best with aqua flys. Also a few spoon bites mixed in higher in the water column. Thanks to the UWGB Womens Basketball team, Head Coach Matt Bollant, and assitant Coach Sarah Bronk. It Was a very fun trip last Thursday!

For the second year in a row team primetime wins kewaunee offshore challenge. Again team primetime made the over 25 mile run to sturgeon bays bank reef. Our weigh in of 10 fish which is the max amount was 96 pounds, second place was just 54 pounds. It goes to show that giving up almost 2 hours of fishing time to the competition the bank reef always shines.

The fishing remains unbelievable on the bank reef with limit catches. Fishing 70 to 100 feet of water with a combo of spoons and flasher and fly setups.

Fishing today on the bank reef was again unstoppable. We could only keep up with 6 lines in the water. I looked at the clock and our customers reeled in the limit catching fish by 5:30 am. I cannot see a better time to come out and enjoy spectacular fishing on the bank. Again, flasher and howie fly combos with a few spoons mixed in. Our best depth was 70 to 100 feet of water at a speed 2.4.

The Fishing on the bank reef remains unbelievable. Fishing anywhere from 70 to 150 feet of water with an assortment of flasher fly and spoons. Colors of chrome and white with howie aqua flys have been the best. Also an assortment of spoons, northern king, pro king,mauler, and union spoons have been the best.

Fishing on the bank reef has been nothing short of amazing. With the cooler water the fish have been biting all day. Fishing anywhere from 100 to 150 feet of water trolling an assortment of spoons and flasher flys. Numerous big salmon and an occasional rainbow or lake trout. On Saturday June 5 primetime Capt Ben and Capt Kyle brought in a 20 fish limit in only a few hours of fishing. Throughout the trip we had multiple four fish hookups.

Walleye fishing on the bay of green bay has been spectacular. With both large size fish and numbers to match. Capt Ben holding this 30 plus inch post spawn walleye. Trolling cranks in 10 to 20 ft of water. With small mouth bass heating up, team prime time has been gearing up to pre fish for the sturgeon bay open bass tournament.
